I've gotten good at putting things behind me quickly when I take a wrong turn, you have to as a small business owner. Take this week. So I've been writing my blog posts for over a year and with a technical glitch, they disappeared in the blink of an eye. Now I did spent a half a day trying desperately to get them back but to no avail. So, I've accepted it and moved on and so here I find myself writing a brand new blog for 2025. I suppose January is as good a place as any to start! And of course great customers like Barbara are what keeps White Heather Homes wheels turning. Last week, Barbara reached out to me for help with buying pieces for a new apartment she was moving into. She took with her from her old house a couch, so was working around that and thats about as far as she'd got. She told me she liked warm paint colours but not too dark and wanted a classy style with a pop of colour but because the living room space was small. The mood board attached was what I came up with and Barbara loved it! We opted for 3 beaded panels on the wall with wallpaper inside of each for that pop of colour, a rug which is yet to be decided, our brass side table, faux stems and wicker basket straight from White Heather Home and some frames for the wall. Simple yet elegant is what we achieved. Barbara took the paint colour to Colourtrend and is having a sample made up.
